I'm gonna be on NY1 again tomorrow. Same time and place... 9:00 PM "The Call".
The last I did it was a blast, so I'm looking foreward to it. I just hope I can say something a little funnier than last time (I was not really familiar with the format, and I had some rookie jitters).
Needless to say, if you've been wondering what old Dan Newbower has to say about this week's regional news, tune in or lose out!
Here is a link to the show: http://ny1.com/ny1/TheCall/index.jsp
Believe it or not the show is actually kind of interactive and you can vote for things during it using your remote. I shit you not. For some reason the New York "news all day" network has managed beat American Idol in figuring out how to let people vote with their remotes. Take that, Rupert Murdoch!
In other news, I went to my friend Allison Castillo's book release party at Caroline's on Broadway last night. The book is for girls, but I look kind of gay so nobody gave me a hard time. Anyway, I read some of it and it is great, so look for it in the bookstore... called "The Score". It is a giant love quiz for women who would like to give their boyfriend a definitive "score" so they can decide whether to keep him or dump him or murder him and disolve the body with lye in the bathtub. Or something like that. Bottom line is that I read the first few chapters and started to calculate my "score" and, well... let's just say that if this book catches on, I am never getting laid ever again.
Actually... don't buy the book.
PEACE OUT HOMIES!!!
